Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt Gas announced turning profitable during the first nine months of 2019.
The company logged a net profit of EGP 27.812 million in the January-September period, against a net loss of EGP 17.604 million in the corresponding period a year earlier, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Thursday.
In the meantime, the company’s activity revenues leapt to EGP 2.216 billion in the nine-month period ended 30 September, compared to EGP 1.636 billion in the year-ago period.
It is noteworthy that during the first half of 2019, Egypt Gas reported a net profit of EGP 14.43 million, against a net loss of EGP 7.55 million in H1-18.
