Cairo – Mubasher: Trade exchange between Egypt and Germany reached $4.7 billion in 2018, the Egyptian trade minister said on Monday.
Egypt’s exports to the European country increased by 11.2% to $663 billion last year, Amr Nassar added in a statement.
Boosting Egyptian exports to Germany help to balance trade between the two countries, Nassar indicated.
German investments in the North African state recorded $641 million at the end of September 2018, the minister highlighted.
The statement came on the sidelines of inaugurating the Egyptian-German Business Forum, organised by the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC).
