Cairo – Mubasher: Trade between Egypt and Japan grew 30.5% to $1.265 billion in 2018 from $969 million in the previous year, data released by the Ministry of Trade and Industry showed on Monday.
Egypt’s top exports to Japan included petroleum, ready-made textiles, carpets, medicinal plants, cotton, vegetables, and food products, the ministry revealed.
Meanwhile, the most populous Arab country imported cars, tractors, machinery, electrical appliances, iron, steel, and plastics.
