Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian trade minister on Wednesday said that Kuwait is Egypt’s third largest trade partner in the Arab world after the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Trade exchange between the two countries valued at $1.74 billion in 2017, including $363 million of non-oil commodities, Amr Nassar highlighted in a statement.
Kuwait cames in the fourth spot among the biggest investors in Egypt with 1,227 investments worth a combined value of $3.7 billion, Nassar added.
These investments are focused in the sectors of tourism, industry, financing, real estate, telecommunication, information technology, and agriculture, he indicated.
Egypt is looking forward to strengthening mutual relations and boosting the contribution of the private sector in both countries, he said.
