Egypt-Morocco bilateral trade hits $681m in 2019

Cairo – Mubasher: Trade exchange between Egypt and Morocco reached $681 million during 2019, the Egyptian minster of trade and industry Nevine Gamea said.

The Egyptian exports to Morocco amounted to $540 million, while the country’s imports from the North African nation stood at $141 million, Gamea added in a statement on Monday.

During her meeting with the Moroccan ambassador in Cairo Ahmed El-Tazi, the trade minister stressed the importance of fostering cooperation between the two countries under the Agadir agreement.
