Egypt OKs $300m loan from IBRD for drainage projects

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Parliament on Sunday announced approving the presidential decree no. 22 of 2019 to obtain a $300 million facility from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).

The loan will be allocated for developing drainage services in Egyptian rural areas, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported, citing the Parliament.

The facility’s deal was signed in the Indonesian city Bali on 13 October 2018, the state-run news agency added.
