Cairo – Mubasher: The volume of savings deposits at Egypt Post retreated by 4.6% to EGP 95.7 billion in fiscal year 2019/2020 from EGP 100.4 billion a year earlier, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said in a statement on Wednesday.
In the meantime, the value of pensions disbursed from post offices rose by 7.5% to EGP 84.2 billion in the last fiscal year, compared to EGP 78.3 billion in FY18/19.
The number of postal service offices increased to 3,973 in FY19/20 from 3,981 in the prior year.
