Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt achieved a primary surplus of EGP 200 million in the first quarter (Q1) of fiscal year 2020/2021, the Minister of Finance, Mohamed Maait, revealed.
This came during the press conference for the launch of the first phase of the e-invoicing system for top corporate taxpayers, according to a statement by the Egyptian Presidency on Monday.
Earlier, Maait announced that Egypt’s revenues increased by 16% during the July-September period, while its expenses rose by 7%.
