Cairo - Mubasher: The deputy governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said that the microfinance initiative targets 10 million beneficiary compared to 2.5 million in 2016.
Gamal Negm added that the new initiative includes guidelines to the banks when financing non-governmental organizations (NGOs) or small projects.
The targeted finances amount to EGP 30 billion up from the current EGP 4.5 billion.
