Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian prime minster Sherif Ismail called on the government to expand corn farming to between 1.5 million and 2 million feddans, according to an official statement.
During the Egyptian cabinet weekly meeting, Ismail said that expanding corn production will have a positive impact on meeting local demand, as well as helping achieve Self-sufficiency, and reducing imports and the demand on foreign currency.
