Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian minister of social solidarity Nevin El-Qabbaj announced the allocation of EGP 100 million fund to compensate those affected by the heavy rain and thunderstorm that battered the country over the last weekend.
A total of 7,750 families were affected by the severe weather conditions, according to estimates by the ministries of social solidarity, agriculture and irrigation, and health and population, as well as governors and local administrations, she added in a statement on Sunday.
