Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt has allocated EGP 2.9 billion worth of government investments to development programmee in Qena and Sohag during fiscal year 2020/2021.
The total value of investments directed to the programme amounted to EGP 7.9 billion over four year starting from FY17/18, minister of planning and economic development Hala El-Saeed said in a statement on Sunday.
Moreover, a total of EGP 19.2 billion has been allocated to North Sinai, South Sinai, Matrouh, and New Valley with a more than a 60% growth rate, she pointed out.
Upper Egyptian governorates will see government investments of EGP 47 billion in FY20/21, accounting for 25% of total allocated investments.
