Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s minister of planning Hala El-Saeed approved the allocation of an additional amount of EGP 250 million in fiscal year 2019/2020 to launch the first phase of the new waste management system.
Over a period of five years, a funding worth EGP 9.3 billion will be directed to the programme set to establish the waste management infrastructure, El-Saeed added in a statement on Thursday.
The new system, which will help in pollution control, will create 1.25 million jobs.
