Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian government plans to spend about 3.9 billion to support low-income housing projects in fiscal year 2019/2020.
Under the social housing support programme, nearly 120,000 residential units will be built for low-income people during the current fiscal year, finance minister Mohamed Maait said in a statement on Monday.
Furthermore, a total of EGP 3.5 billion has been allocated to supply 1.3 million families with natural gas, Maait revealed.
Supply commodities will be supported with EGP 89 billion funding during the current fiscal year, he added.
