Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian cabinet announced the allocation of EGP 4.177 billion for the establishment of 1,969 road projects with lengths totalling 2,157 kilometres in several governorates during this year.
Work is underway in these projects, of which around 40-50% have been completed, the cabinet revealed in a statement on Tuesday.
This came during the prime minister’s meeting with the ministers of local development and environment to follow up on waste management and road pavement projects.
