Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Planning has allocated EGP 60 billion to support development plans in all governorates for the period from 2018 to 2022, Ahram reported on Tuesday, citing the planning minister Hala El-Saeed as saying.
The most populous Arab nation plans to address poverty, unemployment, and illiteracy issues under the development programme for 2018-2022, El-Saeed added.
The government seeks to focus on developing areas in Upper Egypt to fill in the development gap between different governorates, the minister noted.
