Egypt among top 10 improvers in digital inclusion in 2020

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt achieved progress in the digital technology sector, ranking third in the digital inclusion improvement in 2020 following Myanmar and Vietnam, the Egyptian Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center said.

The North African advanced to the 50th position in the digital inclusion index issued by Roland Berger in 2020 with 60 points, compared to the 52nd position with 52 points.

It also improved in three metrics, related to accessibility, affordability, and attitude.

The index measures levels of digital inclusiveness in 82 countries around the world based on four metrics: accessibility, affordability, ability, and attitude.
