Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian minister of manpower Mohamed Saafan announced that Eid El-Fitr holiday will be for five days starting from Sunday, 24 May.
The five-day paid holiday is part of the government’s efforts to curb the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Saafan added in a statement on Monday.
On Sunday, the government extended the nightime curfew during Eid El-Fitr to begin from 5 p.m. during the week.
