Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian manpower minister, Mohamed Saafan, disclosed that Tuesday, 7 January 2020, is a full-paid holiday for the private sector, on the occasion of the Coptic Christmas.
However, the private business owner can request the employee to work on that day, with doubling the daily payment, Saafan said in a statement on Monday.
The ministry issued a publication to workforce directorates across Egypt to ensure the implementation of this decision.
