Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian cabinet announced that the payment of the second phase of the exceptional aid to irregular labourers will begin on 26 April and end on 10 May.
A monthly payment of EGP 500 million will be disbursed for three months to irregular workers who were hardly hit by the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, according to a statement on Thursday.
The aid will be disbursed through post offices and branches of the Agricultural Bank of Egypt across all governorates.
Workers eligible for the aid will receive an SMS, notifying them with the date and location of the aid payment.
