Cairo- Mubasher: Egypt’s annual core inflation rate declined to 7.23% in December, 2015, from 7.44% in November, the central bank said on Sunday.
Core CPI computed by the Central Bank of Egypt increased slightly by 0.10% m/m in December 2015 compared to an increase of 0.96% m/m in November.
Headline CPI published by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics on January 10, 2016 declined by 09% m/m in December 2015 compared to a decline by 0.30% m/m in November. The annual rate remained largely unchanged in December at 11.06%, the Central Bank of Egypt said on Sunday.
