Cairo-Mubasher: Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi gave a nod to the agreement signed in Kuwait with the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development to finance a power plant with KWD 60 million ($216 million).
On 7 April 2015, Egypt had signed an agreement with the Arab Fund to finance the establishment of a power plant in West Cairo.
The project is aimed at fulfilling the growing demand for electricity in Egypt through boosting the generation capacity in Greater Cairo with nearly 650 megawatt.
