Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Ministry of Civil Aviation aims at allocation EGP 400 million to finance the infrastructure of Airport City project at Cairo International Airport, aviation minister Sherif Fathy told Shorouk News.
The ministry plans to offer the project for investment after implementing the infrastructure construction, Fathy added.
Airport City, spanning ten million metres, targets luring investments worth EGP 80 billion.
Foreign direct investment (FDI) in Egypt rose 14.5% to $7.9 billion in fiscal year 2016/2017, versus $6.9 billion in the prior fiscal year.
