Cairo – Mubasher: Around 300 Egyptians in Kuwait will return back home on Wednesday as exceptional flights to evacuate Egyptian citizens from the Gulf country begin due to fears over the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Egyptian consulate, in coordination with Kuwaiti authorities, will follow up on the requests of citizens wishing to return to Egypt, including those carrying visit or tourist visas, Middle East News Agency (MENA) cited Egypt's ambassador to Kuwait, Tarek El-Qouny as saying.
EgyptAir suspended flights to Kuwait as of 7 March until further notice.
