Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s benchmark EGX30 index rose in Wednesday’s early trading by 2.1% or 275.7 points to the level of 13,404 points.
The EGX70 index grew 1.31% to 529.3 points, the EGX100 index advanced 1.28% to 1,275.6 points and the EGX50 index levelled up 1.78% to 1,042.8 points.
Trading volume reached 247 million shares exchanged at EGP 72.5 million through 5,600 transactions.
By 10:35am Cairo time, 67 stocks rose, 13 declined and 33 others were flat.
Local and foreign traders were net buyers by EGP 6.9 million and EGP 8.9 million, while net sales by Arab traders reached EGP 15.8 million.
Juhayna grew 13.2%, Egyptian Iron and Steel leapt 9.86%, Arabian Food Industries rose 5.3% and CIB ascended 3.2%.
On the other hand, Eastern Company and AMOC fell 1.4% and 1.12% respectively.
