Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Thursday’s session on a positive note as the benchmark EGX30 index grew 0.06% or 7.15 points to the level of 12,994.8 points.
Likewise, the EGX70 and EGX100 indices rose 0.77% and 0.59%, respectively, while the EGX50 index fell 0.14%.
Market capitalisation shrank EGP 316 million to EGP 654.97 billion.
Trading volume reached 202.7 million shares exchanged through 28,900 transactions, resulting in a turnover of EGP 1.3 billion.
Foreign and Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 80.5 million and EGP 23.8 million, respectively, while Egyptian investors were net sellers by EGP 104.3 million.
Edita, Porto, Amer, Ghabbour Auto, and Orascom Telecom declined between 5.1% and 2.6%.
On the other hand, Delta Construction, Domty, National Real Estate Bank, Madinet Nasr Housing, and Ezz Steel rose between 9.9% and 2%.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt decreased 1.31% to EGP 75.5.
