Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) indices rose collectively in Tuesday’s early trading.
The benchmark EGX30 index grew 0.59% to the level of 12,925 points, the EGX70 index advanced 1.14% to 518.81 points, and the EGX100 index rose 0.51% to 1,250.84 points.
The equal-weighted EGX50 index ascended 1.09% to the mark of 1,978.76 points.
Trading volume reached 27 million shares exchanged at EGP 135.5 million through 3,300 transactions.
During this time, 48 stocks rose, 10 declined and 36 shares were flat.
Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 12.12 million, while sales by local and foreign traders reached EGP 8.2 million and EGP 3.9 million respectively.
National Real Estate Bank for Development rose 5.47%, Edita grew 5.15% and Telecom Egypt advanced 4.27%.
On the other hand, AMOC declined 4.51%, Orascom Construction shrank 1.43% and CIB fell 0.18%.
