Egypt bourse likely to test 8,500 pts – Analysts

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange is likely to target the 8,500 zone during the mid-week trading session, analysts told Mubasher.

The benchmark index (EGX30) yesterday registered gains for the third straight session with sideways movements form the area near 8,200 points to close at 8,386 points, said market analyst Mohamed Mamdouh.

The index is expected to keep moving sideways near 8,500 points, which paves the way, if broken, to the 8,800 zone, Mamdouh added.

MubasherTrade Research anticipated the EGX30 "to continue rising towards 8.475."

The main index reversed its early losses to close higher 0.34% to 8,386 points on a strong performance of some blue-chip stocks.
