Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) benchmark index EGX30 slide 0.61% or 75.41 points on a weekly basis to close at 12,344.89 points amid selling pressure by local investors.
The market capitalization shed EGP 7.05 billion through this week trades to close at EGP 601.59 billion.
The small and medium caps index EGX70 went up 0.37% or 1.72 points on a weekly basis to close at 463.44 points.
The broader index EGX100 added 3.35% on a weekly basis to close at 1,100.06 points, while the equal weighted index slide 0.93% on a weekly basis to close at 1,924.76 points.
Local investors accounted for 82.15% of this week trades, while foreign and Arab investors accounted for 9.98% and 7.87% of this week trades.
