Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened Tuesday’s session on a mixed note, amid selling activity by foreign investors and buying activity by Egyptian and Arab traders.
By 10:50 am Cairo time, the EGX30 index shrank 0.01% or 1.66 points to the level of 13,506.73 points. The EGX50 index also fell 0.17% to 2,086 points.
On the other hand, the EGX70 index rose 0.29% to 624.13 points, and the EGX100 index advanced 0.28% to 1,476.73 points.
Trading volume reached 61.49 million shares exchanged at EGP 145.7 million through 3,800 transactions.
Net sales by foreign investors reached EGP 65.6 million, while net purchases by Egyptian and Arab investors amounted to EGP 54.04 million and EGP 11.56 million, respectively.
