Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) initiated Wednesday in the green territory on Arab investors' buying by 10:30am Cairo time.
The main gauge EGX30 added 33 points, or 0.40%, to reach 8,219.8 points.
The small and mid-cap EGX70 edged up 0.12% to 362.3 points.
Likewise, the broader index EGX100 was 0.2% up to 809.2 points and the equal-weighted index increased 0.4% to 1,398.5 points.
The largest EGX30 stock CIB saw a rise of 0.92% to EGP 49.44 by 10:32am Cairo time.
Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 505,700, while local and foreign investors were net sellers by EGP 188,000 and 318,000 respectively.
Trading value reached EGP 44.5 million after 11.3 million shares were traded by 10:36am Cairo time.
The early top gainers were led by HADISOLB (+9.9), while Sidi Kerir headed the losers with a slide of 1.4%.
