Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt has established 18 commercial and logistics zones and projects in 11 governorates over a total area of 368 feddans with investments of about EGP 49 billion, the Assistant Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Ibrahim Ashmawy, said.
These commercial projects create more than 400,000 jobs, Ashmawy added in a statement on Monday.
The internal trade accounts for 19% of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) with a value of EGP 1.2 trillion, he noted.
This came during the visit of the Minister of Supply, Ali El-Moselhy, to Tanta logistics zone.
