Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Supply received 2.138 million tonnes of wheat from local farmers since the beginning of this season which started in mid-April.
The government will pay farmers between EGP 670 and EGP 700 per ardeb (150 kilograms) of wheat based on quality, according to a statement on Tuesday.
