Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt kept its key interest rates at their previous levels on Thursday.
The bank's Monetary Policy Committee decided to keep the overnight deposit and lending rates unchanged at 10.75% and 11.75% respectively, according to online data by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
Moreover, the CBE's main operation rate stayed unchanged at 11.25%.
The discount rate also saw no change to steady at 11.25%.
