Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt will issue treasury bonds at a total value of EGP 4.75 billion on Monday.
The EGP 4.75 billion will be offered through two tranches: five-year bonds worth EGP 3 billion and ten-year bonds worth EGP 1.75 billion.
The country’s budget deficit widened to EGP 177 billion, or 5.9% of gross domestic product (GDP)during the first half of the current fiscal year, compared with EGP 132 billion, or 6.7% of GDP for the year-ago period.
