Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Health announced the detection of seven new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), taking the tally to 59.
The seven new cases include four Egyptians and a foreigner who had contact with the infected cases announced earlier, spokesman of the health ministry Khaled Megahed said in a statement late on Monday.
A total of 21 cases have recovered after receiving medical care at the quarantine hospital, Megahed added.
