Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that a foreigner has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) inside Egypt.
The patient was sent to a quarantine centre and is currently under observation and receiving medical care, spokesman of the health ministry Khaled Megahed said in a statement early Monday.
This is the second confirmed coronavirus case in Egypt, Megahed added, noting that the first person has recovered.
