Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian minister of finance, Amr Al Garhy, said that Egypt currently considers the possibility to issue international bonds in currencies such as Japanese Yen and Chinese Yuan.

Al Garhy added in a press conference on Sunday that the Egypt is open to all available finance options to support the finance gap, noting that the government aims at issuing bonds in different currencies, after the high demand on the dollar bonds, and the recent economic reforms.

Egypt’s finance gap increased to $34 billion in the three years ending in FY2018-2019, in oppose to expectations of nearly $30 billion for the same period.

The deputy finance minister for fiscal policies, Ahmed Kojak, said earlier that Egypt will receive $4 billion, the outcome of the recently issued international bonds, during this week.
