Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian government reduced its GDP growth target by 1.8% or EGP 175 billion to 4.2% from a previous target of 6% due to the economic repercussions of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, finance minister Mohamed Maait said in a televised press conference on Thursday.
The Egyptian prime minister Mostafa Madbouly decided to extend the nighttime curfew until the end of Ramadan.
Madbouly urged citizens to take all precautionary procedures to contain the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
