Egypt cuts price of jet fuel to support aviation, tourism sectors

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El-Molla, announced a reduction in the price of jet fuel by 15 cents per gallon as part of a new initiative to support the aviation and tourism sectors.

This move is part of the government’s efforts to relieve the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on these key sectors, El-Molla said in a statement on Wednesday.

The initiative will be applied from 21 January until the end of 2021.
