Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation has developed a plan until 2037 with investments exceeding EGP 900 billion.
The plan includes improving the quality of water, developing new water resources, rationalising the use of available water resources, and creating a supportive environment to addresses water issues, the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, Mohamed Abdel Ati, said in a statement on Sunday.
This statement came during the inaugural session of the first Baghdad water conference held in the Iraqi capital.
