Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s General Administration of Tourism and Antiquities Police announced the discovery of a Pharaonic tomb near the Pyramids area in Giza.
The tomb was found by detecting illegal excavations, searching for unearthed artifacts beneath houses, state-run news agency MENA reported.
On Saturday, antiquities ministry Khalid Al Anani said that Egyptian archaeologists discovered a pharaonic tomb dating back to the Ptolemaic era, including 50 mummies, in the Upper Egypt governorate of Minya, inside four nine-metre deep burial chambers in the Tuna El-Gebel archaeological site.
