Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian government will send a new investment law draft to the cabinet next month, said investment minister Dalia Khorshid in a talk show aired by CBC on Tuesday.
The new law casts light on creating various incentives and guarantees for investors, said Khorshid, indicating that the ministry has worked on it for six months.
In 2015, the government approved an investment law to regain investor confidence in the Egyptian market, but was later amended in December.
During the fiscal year 2016/17, Egypt seeks to attract $10 million foreign investments, the minister stated earlier.
