Egypt eases curfew hours during Ramadan

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian government announced exceptional measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak during Ramadan.

Starting from Friday, 24 April, the nighttime curfew will begin at 9 p.m. instead of 8 p.m. and end at 6 a.m., the prime minister Mostafa Madbouly said during a press conference on Thursday.

All shopping malls and shops will be allowed to be open until 5 p.m. all week, including on Fridays and Saturdays.

Restaurants will be open for takeout and delivery.
