Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) benchmark index EGX30 gained 1.17% or 131.5 points on a weekly basis, through this week trades, as it closed at 11,353.1 points.
The market capitalization gained EGP 15.7 billion reaching EGP 559.78 billion by the end of the current week trades.
The small and medium caps index EGX70 went up 4.55%, on a weekly basis, to close at 447.77 points recording its highest closing level since 7 August 2015.
The broader index EGX100 gained 4.28%, on a weekly basis, to close at 1,061 points that considered its highest closing level since 20 March 2015.
Similarly, the equal weighted index EGX50 went up 1.55%, on a weekly basis, to close at 1,789.3 points.
