Egypt exports $4.9bn petroleum products in 2019

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s petroleum products exports grew by 4.54% year-on-year in 2019, according to data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).

Exports rose to $4.9 billion last year, compared to $4.69 billion in 2018.

Egyptian liquefied natural gas exports went up to $1.236 billion in 2019, from $497 million a year earlier.

On the other hand, the North African country’s petrochemical products imports declined by 23.4% YoY to $9.42 billion last year.
