Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt has exported $7.17 billion (EGP 124.17 billion) worth of mineral fuel, oils, pearls, precious stones, and metals during 2017.
The North African country’s exports in 2017 included $1.72 billion machines and electrical equipment, according to a report released by the Arab Investment and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (Dhaman).
In 2017, Egypt’s plastic exports reached $1.5 billion, while fruit and sugar exports hit $1.27 billion.
As for imports, the most populated country imported $11.52 billion mineral fuels and oils and $5.71 billion machines and electrical equipment in 2017, Dhaman's data showed.
