Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt’s Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea announced extending the suspension of exporting fava beans and lentil for an additional three months.
The decision was in coordination with the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, in implementation of the government's comprehensive plan to provide the local market with its needs of basic commodities, according to an official statement on Tuesday.
The mandate is also part of the precautionary measures currently adopted by the Egyptian government to combat the consequences of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the statement concluded.
