Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian cabinet extended the nighttime curfew until the end of Ramadan, prime minister Mostafa Madbouly said in a televised press conference on Thursday.
Madbouly urged citizens to take all precautionary measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), noting that violators will be penalised.
The prime minister previously reduced the curfew hours to begin at 9 p.m. instead of 8 p.m.
