Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt is planning to issue fresh US dollar-denominated bonds during fiscal year 2018/2019, finance minister Amr El Garhy has said.
The value of the planned bond sale ranges between $6 billion to $7 billion, Reuters reported, citing El Garhy.
It is worth noting that the North African nation sold eight-year and 12-year Euro-denominated bonds on Tuesday at a combined value of EUR 2 billion through two tranches with a yield of 4.75% and 5.625%, respectively.
In March 2018, the finance minister had announced plans to issue eight-year and 12-year EUR 1.5 billion bonds.
